Classic Mode, or just simply Classic is a mode that can be selected on Regular Match in 1-P Mode. It haves 6 stages with 2 bonuses, making it a total of 8 stages. The stages below are listed in order below:
Stages
Emerald Hill Zone
Your objective is to defeat Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, or Super Sonic in a 1 vs. 1 battle, .
Mushroom Kingdom 2
Your objective is to defeat Mario and Luigi in a team battle of 2 vs. 2. Your teammate is always Samus.
Bonus Stage 1:Break the Targets
Your objective is to destroy all 8 targets in under 2 minutes.
Temple
Your objective is to defeat Link, Young Link, Zelda, or Sheik in a 1 vs. 1 battle.
Dream Land
Your objective is to defeat 15 Kirbys (which is actually 3 Kirbys with 5 lives each one).Is is possible to fight Meta Knight if one or all of the Kirbys press the Attack button without moving in any direction.
Bonus Stage 2:Race to the Finish
Your objective is to reach the end of the level in under 1 minute.
Battlefield
Your objective is to defeat 12 Fighting Shadows.
Final Destination
Your objective is to defeat the final boss, Master Hand.
Trivia
- When you play Classic Mode, you can unlock Super Sonic, Young Link and Mr. Incredible.
- Crazy Hand is not fought in Classic Mode no matter what, even if it is on the highest or lowest difficulty.
- You fight only the Mario Bros. if you have unlocked Luigi. If not, it is a 2 vs. 1 battle against Mario.
